The Grenzstockweg is a picturesque hiking trail located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. This easy out-and-back route covers a distance of 3.509 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Wanderparkplatz Rottal parking area, conveniently located at the trailhead. Just a short distance from the start, you will find a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottle before continuing on your journey.

As you venture further along the trail, you will pass by a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you will also come across two water points, one at the midpoint of the route and another closer to the end, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike.

For those interested in exploring the natural beauty of the area, there are also two points of interest located near the trail. A tranquil water feature is located 1.75 kilometers from the start, while a second water point can be found at the 0.5 kilometer mark.
