You will start your journey at the Camping Hammerschmiedesee, a campsite located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will pass by several water sources such as Eisenweiher, a picturesque water spot located 0.4 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on, you will encounter various other water features, some closer to the trail than others. Midway through your hike, you can take a break at the Hammerschmiedesee restaurant, located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail.

Along the way, you will also come across parking areas with no fees, making it convenient for those driving to the trailhead. Additionally, there is a wayside cross located at the end of the route, adding a historic touch to your hike.
