This challenging hiking route covers a distance of 10.455 kilometers with an elevation gain of 112 meters, taking around 2 hours and 42 minutes to complete. The trail is a circular route that starts at a parking area located at the beginning of the hike.

As you embark on the trail, you will come across several points of interest. Roughly 5.16 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source. Continuing on, at the 3.53 kilometer mark, there is another water point conveniently located by the trail. Around 2.87 kilometers into the hike, there is a water source slightly off the trail. At the 4.75 kilometer mark, you will encounter another on-trail water source. Additionally, at 3.42 kilometers into the hike, there is another water point along the trail.

For history buffs, along the route, you will find several wayside crosses. One is located approximately 2.18 kilometers into the hike, with another at the 4.83 kilometer mark, and one more at 3.4 kilometers along the trail.
