This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Cimata di Pezza - ovest peak in the beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 13.924 kilometers with an elevation gain of 543 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding journey.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a good spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. Further along the trail, at 4.8 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter where you can take a rest and maybe have a snack.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Cimata di Pezza - ovest, located 6.96 kilometers from the starting point. The breathtaking views from the summit make the strenuous climb worthwhile.
It is important to note that there is a spring located 0.02 kilometers from the start of the trail, but it is slightly off the path, so plan accordingly if you need to refill your water supply.
Given the length and elevation gain of the route, it is recommended to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
