Welcome to the Oberholzweg hiking route! This easy 4.474-kilometer circular trail offers a tranquil experience in a beautiful natural setting. The route has a total elevation gain of 33 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the peaceful Gländ-Weiher lake just 0.71 kilometers from the trailhead. This serene spot is perfect for a picturesque break. Further along the trail at 0.93 kilometers, you'll find two more water features, providing a refreshing backdrop to your adventure.

Approximately midway through the hike at 2.14 kilometers, hikers will encounter another picturesque water spot, Kanalweiher. This is a great place to rest and take in the surroundings before continuing on your journey.

For those looking to enjoy a picnic or refill their water bottles, there are designated picnic sites and drinking water stations along the trail, with the closest one located at 0.68 kilometers into the hike.

As you near the end of the loop, approximately at 1.95 kilometers, you'll pass by additional water features and benches for a well-deserved break. Be sure to stop by the Naturreservat Langholz information point at the same distance to learn more about the area's flora and fauna.
