Located in the scenic Cabrera region, this challenging 9.1-kilometer out-and-back hiking route to Cabrera Peak offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Starting at the designated parking area, hikers will pass by several barbecue spots conveniently located near the trailhead. As you make your way through the rugged terrain, you'll come across a refreshing water fountain at around the 3.38-kilometer mark, perfect for a quick break.

Midway through the hike, you'll find El Plano picnic site, a great spot to refuel and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. For a unique experience, consider exploring the nearby cave entrance just a short distance from the trail.

As you continue towards Cabrera Peak, be sure to stop by Merendero El Plano, a cozy bar offering snacks and beverages, located conveniently along the trail. At around 4.55 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the summit of Cabrera Peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Remember to bring plenty of water, as this trail has a total elevation gain of 317 meters and can be considered difficult due to its length and rugged terrain. Additionally, check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
