Hiking : Col dei Buoi

This challenging 11.9-kilometer hike will take you on a circular route to Col dei Buoi, offering stunning views and historical points of interest along the way.

Starting the hike, you will pass by Lago de le Sepolture, a beautiful lake located about 4 kilometers from the trailhead. As you continue, you will come across several historic ruins, including Postazione cannone da montagna "P1" and Postazione obice da montagna P4. These ruins provide a glimpse into the area's military history.

Around the midway point of the hike, you will find Col Cervera, a peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the scenery before continuing on.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several fountains where you can refill your water bottles. However, it is always a good idea to bring plenty of water with you, as well as snacks and sunscreen.

As you make your way back towards the trailhead, take a moment to visit the Parco della Memoria di Pian dei Buoi, where you can learn more about the area's history through informative panels.
