This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the 低砲台砲座區 (Low Battery Artillery Positions) in Taiwan. The trail starts at a parking area near the destination and follows a well-marked path with stunning viewpoints along the way.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by several interesting historic ruins, including the 哨兵舍三 (Sentry House Three) and the 廁圊 (Latrine). These ruins offer a glimpse into the area's past and are great spots to take a break and explore.

Further along the trail, you will come across the 彈場 (Ammunition Depot) and the 掩蔽部 (Bunker), which are fascinating remnants of the area's military history. Be sure to take your time to appreciate these unique landmarks.

As you continue on, you'll reach the 運砲坡道 (Gun Carriage Ramp) and the 高砲台砲座區 (High Battery Artillery Positions), which provide sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. These viewpoints are perfect for taking in the natural beauty of the area and capturing some memorable photos.

The pinnacle of the hike is reaching the 深澳坑砲台山 (Shen'ao Pit Battery Mountain), a natural peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area. Take a moment to rest and recharge at one of the shelters conveniently located along the trail before heading back to the starting point.

This out-and-back route covers a distance of 5.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 118 meters, making it a moderate trek suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
