This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Route de Canteloube. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of approximately 3.986 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you'll come across points of interest such as a water source just 0.09 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at around 0.85 kilometers, you'll find another water point conveniently located on the trail. There are also parking areas for your convenience at the trailhead, with one named Place de l'Église.
Halfway through the hike, at approximately 1.99 kilometers, you'll encounter another water source. Additionally, there is a bench and several information points along the trail to provide you with insights about the surroundings.
Near the end of the route, about 1.1 kilometers from the start, you'll find another water point, though it's slightly off the main trail. Furthermore, at the trailhead, there is Château de Saint-Geniès, a historic castle worth exploring if you have the time.
