This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Strada Provinciale di San Benedetto. The trail has a total distance of 4.513 kilometers and an elevation gain of 319 meters, making it a moderate level hike that will take approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Eremo delle Carceri, a historic monastery located just 0.26 kilometers from the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by Fra Rufino and Fra Masseo, two cave entrances that are 0.27 and 0.28 kilometers from the trail, respectively.
Along the way, you will also find various points of interest such as a parking area, information boards, a wayside cross, a wayside shrine, and a viewpoint offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
