Welcome to Sendero Punta de la Roca, an extremely challenging hiking route with a distance of 13.989 kilometers and an elevation gain of 517 meters. This out-and-back trail will take approximately 4 hours and 31 minutes to complete, so make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for the journey.
Starting at the parking area, located just 0.03 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by a drinking water station at 0.1 kilometers, ensuring you stay hydrated before heading further into the route. As you make your way towards the first peak, Boca Chica, at 5.84 kilometers from the start, take in the stunning natural beauty that surrounds you.
Continuing on, you will come across a water feature at just 0.02 kilometers into the hike, providing a tranquil spot to rest and refresh. Along the trail, there is an information point at 0.1 kilometers, where you can learn more about the area and its significance.
For a well-deserved break, a picnic site awaits at 0.15 kilometers from the beginning, offering a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the scenic views.
