Welcome to the hiking route to el Gorg in an area filled with natural beauty and historic ruins. This 8.3-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a moderate difficulty level with 286 meters of elevation gain, making it a great option for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the Mas del Valent ruins at 1.42 kilometers from the trail's beginning. Further along the trail at 1.63 kilometers, you will find the bassa bombers water feature, perfect for a refreshing stop. Be sure to bring plenty of water as this hike does not have water sources along the way.
Continuing on, at the 4.02-kilometer mark, you will encounter the el Gorguet waterfall, followed by the Gorg del Mas dels Frares waterfall at 4.04 kilometers and el Gorg waterfall at 4.15 kilometers. These stunning natural features provide a picturesque backdrop for your hike.
As you make your way back, you can explore the Torre de la Perxa o dels Moros peak at 3.64 kilometers from the start and the Font Viva spring at 0.4 kilometers. Take a moment to admire the views from the peak and replenish your water supply at the spring.
