This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.46 kilometers and an elevation gain of 402 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue on, you will come across several water sources where you can refill your water bottles, approximately at 0.57, 0.66, and 1.68 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will also see the ruins of Forn de Cal Xacó at 1.13 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Font del Marió fountain, located at 1.62 kilometers from the start. As you near the endpoint, you'll reach the Punta del Poniol viewpoint at 2.73 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
For additional exploration, there are drinking water sources and cave entrances available near the trail. The Cova Bover and Cova Canet cave entrances are located at 2.41 kilometers from the start, while another drinking water source can be found at the trailhead.
