Welcome to the Upper Powerline hiking route in West Vancouver. This 2.65 kilometers long circular trail offers a relatively easy hike with 81 meters of elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 1.08 kilometers in, you'll come across the Upper Warming Hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Along the route, you'll also encounter various water sources, including the Second Lake, Fourth Lake, and Third Lake, providing a peaceful atmosphere and a chance to rest and recharge. Be sure to bring an adequate supply of water with you as well.
For a quick snack or meal, the Nordic Cafe is located just 0.09 kilometers from the trail, offering sustenance midway through your hike. Additionally, the Strait Lookout and another viewpoint are positioned at around 0.4 and 0.62 kilometers from the start, providing excellent opportunities to capture scenic views of the area.
