This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area surrounding Cumbre de Talamanca. With a total distance of 11.981 kilometers and an elevation gain of 699 meters, this hike is recommended for experienced hikers.

Starting at El Travieso parking area, you will begin your journey through the rugged terrain. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as Paso del Diablo at around 5.97 kilometers from the start, Cumbre de Talamanca peak, and several other peaks offering stunning panoramic views.

Make sure to stay hydrated as you pass by a spring at 1.29 kilometers from the start, and another at 2.69 kilometers. It is essential to bring an ample water supply and snacks due to the length and difficulty of the hike.

The route will also lead you to different saddles and peaks, each offering a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape. Be prepared for some challenging sections as you navigate through the diverse terrain.
