This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Nerbioi bailara/Valle del Nervión area, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is approximately 7.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 525 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a natural spring called Iturriaga, located at around 1.14 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to replenish your water supply before continuing on. Around 0.76 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station for another opportunity to refill your bottles.

Further along the trail at approximately 1.47 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Kukutza, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, at 2.03 kilometers, you will come across a historic wayside cross, adding a touch of cultural significance to your hike.

For those driving to the trailhead, there is parking available at the beginning of the route, right at the starting point. This convenient parking area is free of charge for hikers.

Midway through the hike, at around 3.69 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Sollakurtzekopunta, followed by the peak of Kurtzegana at 2.15 kilometers. These peaks offer breathtaking views and a great place to take a break and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Near the end of the route, at approximately 3.71 kilometers, you will come across the viewpoint of Nerbioi bailara/Valle del Nervión, offering a picturesque sight of the valley below.
