This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 14.069-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 525 meters. The starting point of the hike is at a parking area located 3.15 kilometers away from the trail.
As you embark on this challenging adventure, you'll pass by the Fort Mountain Scenic Overlook, situated 3.15 kilometers into the hike. This viewpoint offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area, accessible even for individuals in wheelchairs. Further along the trail at 4.23 kilometers, you'll come across an informational point marked as "MILE 2," providing insights into the local history and landmarks.
Continuing on, at 4.29 kilometers, there is another parking area available for hikers looking to join the trail. Just a bit further, at 4.53 kilometers, you'll find another parking spot conveniently close to the trail. A little over halfway through the hike, at 5.61 kilometers, marks the location of "MILE 13," another informational marker that may offer valuable details about the area.
One of the highlights of this route is Mill Creek Falls (2) 50, which you will encounter at 7.03 kilometers into the hike. This stunning waterfall provides a perfect spot to rest, rejuvenate, and admire the beauty of nature before heading back.
