This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin de Bourdalat. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 6.333 kilometers and an elevation gain of 265 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Parking d'Escot, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will also pass by shelters, water sources, informational points, a saddle, a memorial, a peak called Bugala, ruins of an historic grange, a fountain, drinking water spots, and wayside crosses.
It is important to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on warmer days, as some of the water sources may be off the trail. Check the weather forecast before starting your hike and wear appropriate footwear for the terrain.
