This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Monte Acquasalce. The trail is 12.839 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 510 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. It's recommended to park your vehicle here and start your adventure on foot.
As you continue along the trail, you'll come across a restaurant around 0.03 kilometers from the start. This could be a great spot to refuel and take a break before tackling the rest of the hike.
About halfway through the trail, at 4.99 kilometers from the start, you'll find yourself near the peak of Monte Castiglioni. Although not directly on the trail, the detour to this peak could offer some stunning views and a memorable experience.
Further along, at 5.47 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the peak of Colle Petroso. While it's not directly on the trail, it could be worth the extra effort to explore this area if you have the time and energy.
Finally, at 6.42 kilometers from the start, you'll reach your destination at the peak of Monte Acquasalce. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views and a sense of accomplishment for completing this challenging hike.
