Welcome to the hiking route to Obere Scheibenbichlalm! This trail offers a beautiful alpine experience with stunning views and historic landmarks along the way.

Starting at an elevation of 1200 meters, you will follow an out-and-back route that covers a distance of 4.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 260 meters. The duration of this hike is approximately 1 hour and 24 minutes.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Berggasthof Kohlalm, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine (located at the start of the trail). Further along the trail, you will come across a wayside cross at a distance of 2 kilometers and a peak named Schneebichl at a distance of 1 kilometer. These landmarks offer great photo opportunities and a chance to take in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

For those interested in history, there is a second wayside cross located at the end of the trail. Additionally, there is a viewpoint at a distance of 2 kilometers where you can admire the panoramic views of the area.
