This extremely difficult 10.754-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Wiesberg area, where you can challenge yourself with a 1260-meter elevation gain.
Starting from the Parkplatz Gaisberg parking area, you'll pass by the Kaiseralm / Vorderschiessling Alm restaurant at 1.88 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot to fuel up for the journey ahead.
Along the way, you'll encounter the Hinterschießlingalm restaurant at the 0.65-kilometer mark and a refreshing water source at 0.3 kilometers. As you continue, informative points like Gaisberg-Stein and Wilder Kaiser will provide insight into the area's history and natural features.
Further into the hike, you'll reach the peaks of Sonnenstein at 3.52 kilometers and Wiesberg at 5.38 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Don't miss the Rehbachklamm Mitte waterfall at the 0.06-kilometer mark for a picturesque break.
