The Pustertaler Almweg is a moderate 5.477-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 254 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 54 minutes to complete. The route is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty.
As you begin your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, at around 2.4 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source where you can replenish your supply. This is a great spot to take a break, especially on hotter days.
Around 2.17 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife. Further along the trail, at approximately 1.83 kilometers from the start, there is another information point, providing valuable insights into the surrounding terrain.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, you will encounter additional information points at 0.04, 0.02, and 0.01 kilometers from the start, offering interesting facts about the flora and fauna you may encounter on your journey.
