This hiking route takes you from Clara-Schumann-Platz to Gemeinde Dörfel in Baden-Baden. The trail starts at Clara-Schumann-Platz, where you can find parking facilities on Haimbachstraße. As you begin your journey, make sure to check out the Adolf-Brodreiß-Brunnen fountain nearby. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will be retracing your steps on the way back.

As you hike, you will pass by the Sportgaststätte FC Lichtental restaurant, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. Along the way, you will also come across several benches where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. One of these benches is located at Gemeinde Dörfel, offering a nice viewpoint to take in the scenery.

For history buffs, there is a wayside cross and information point at Roter Rain that you can explore. The trail is relatively easy with a distance of 1.75 kilometers and an elevation gain of 34 meters.
