Welcome to the Bolgweg hiking route! This beautiful trail offers a 2.836-kilometer round trip with an elevation gain of 149 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The trail takes approximately 1 hour and 1 minute to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will soon come across Trattoria Pizzeria dal Contadino - Winkler Hofstüble, a lovely restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal before or after your hike. As you continue, you will pass by Gutzweiler Brunnen, a natural spring located 1.09 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle and take a refreshing break.

Around 1.11 kilometers into the hike, you will find Grillstelle Sophienhütte and Sophienhütte, a picnic site with BBQ facilities and a shelter to rest. These spots are perfect for a picnic lunch with stunning views of the surroundings. At 1.42 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the area.

Along the trail, you will also encounter several benches for resting and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, there are information points providing insights into the history of the Weilers Winkel and the rotenfelsenwege.
