This challenging hiking route in the Deskantsu area covers a distance of 8.77 kilometers with an elevation gain of 181 meters. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 2 hours and 28 minutes.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, hikers will embark on an out-and-back journey through stunning natural landscapes. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest.

At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by an information point providing insights into the local area. As you continue, you will reach Satorlepo, a saddle offering panoramic views. Further along the trail, you will encounter Lakotako lepoa, another picturesque saddle.

Midway through the hike, you will find Uzkueko Gaina, a peak that is slightly off the main trail but worth the short detour for incredible vistas. Continuing on, you will come across Elizburu and Mendibilko Burua, two more peaks that add to the scenic beauty of the route.

Towards the end of the hike, after approximately 4.39 kilometers, you will reach Deskantsu, another peak with breathtaking views as your final destination before retracing your steps back to the starting point.

As this is a difficult hike due to its length and elevation gain, hikers are advised to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey. Enjoy the beauty of Deskantsu and stay safe on the trails!
