This extremely difficult 12.868-kilometer circular hiking route in Gourgs du Cady offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers. The trail starts at the parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest.
About 6.03 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source, followed by another one at the 6.08-kilometer mark. These spots provide an opportunity to refill your water bottles, so be sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike. Additionally, there are wilderness and alpine huts along the trail, such as Refuge Jean Coderch and Refuge des Cortalets, where you can take a break and rest before continuing your journey.
At the 4-kilometer mark, you will reach Porteille de Valmanya, a natural saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
