This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Pic Joffre. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 3.782 kilometers and an elevation gain of 226 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the parking area at the trailhead. From there, you will pass by the peaceful L'Estanyol lake located just 0.81 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 0.4 kilometers, you will find the Refuge Jean Coderch, a wilderness hut where you can take a rest.

Continuing on, at 0.47 kilometers, you will reach the Alpine hut, Refuge des Cortalets, providing accommodation for hikers. Along the way, there are also points of interest such as Font de la Perdiu spring at 1.57 kilometers and a scenic bench at 0.78 kilometers for a relaxing break.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Pic Joffre at 1.89 kilometers, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On your way back, you can refill your water bottle at a drinking water point located at 0.4 kilometers from the start.
