This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Veliki turn. The trail is 6.661 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 922 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. From there, the trail leads you to the first point of interest, the peak known as Planica, located right at the beginning of the hike.

Continuing on, you will pass by a picnic site at around 2.58 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some food amidst nature. Further along the trail, at the 2.06 kilometer mark, you will find the alpine hut called Koča na Kriški gori, offering a resting place for weary hikers.

For those looking to extend their hike, the wilderness hut Koča LD Tržič is located at 2.79 kilometers from the start, providing overnight accommodation options. Another interesting point on the trail is the peak called Kriška gora at 2.06 kilometers from the start, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue on your journey, you will also come across the bench located at 1.73 kilometers from the start, providing a tranquil spot to rest and take in the scenery. Additionally, there are information points along the trail at 0.1 and 0.47 kilometers from the start, offering insights into the area's history and natural features.

Towards the end of the hike, at around 3.33 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as Veliki turn, the final destination of the route. This peak offers breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment for completing the challenging hike.
