This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Tête du Chat Sauvage. The trail is 5.82 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 254 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is an out-and-back route, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will pass by Ferme Auberge du Felsach, a lovely restaurant just 0.2 kilometers from the trailhead. At the beginning of the trail, you'll also find a parking area, perfect for leaving your car before setting off.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Abris de la chaume des Vintergés, a shelter located 1.84 kilometers from the start, providing a nice spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, you'll also encounter Les Winterges, a natural saddle offering stunning views.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Tête du Chat Sauvage, a peak located 2.91 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect place to pause and take in the panoramic views before heading back.
