This challenging 8.919-kilometer circular hiking route in the area of Manantial de Mondalindo - Calle El Pedregal offers a variety of breathtaking natural beauty and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail has an elevation gain of 570 meters and is estimated to take approximately 3 hours and 29 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area near Calle El Pedregal, hikers will make their way through the picturesque landscape, passing by the refreshing Fuente del Agua Fría spring at around the 2.94-kilometer mark. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a short break.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across Bar la Estrella and Bar Sol, where you can stop for a quick bite to eat before tackling the more challenging sections of the hike. Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 3.32 kilometers, you will find yourself near the impressive peak of Cancho del Mondalindo. Take some time to marvel at the stunning views before pushing onwards.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several other peaks, such as Mondalindo o Cabeza del Cervunal, as well as drinking water sources and cafes like Carabo Café, ensuring you stay hydrated and energized.
Towards the end of the route, at around 4.33 kilometers, you will reach another peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Finally, as you make your way back to the starting point, consider stopping by La Resalá restaurant for a well-deserved meal.
