This challenging hiking route takes you on a 7.45-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 748 meters in the beautiful area of Pilotalekugaña. The route, which is an out-and-back trail, is estimated to take around 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete.
As you begin your hike, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.45 kilometers from the start, you'll find a non-guarded shelter known as Cabane Non Gardee. It's a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding views. Continuing on, at around 0.36 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the historic Mugarrien 35. zenbakia boundary stone, adding a touch of cultural significance to your journey.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.37 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a natural spring called Urkila, providing a refreshing stop to replenish your water supply. Further along, at 3.73 kilometers from the start, you'll find the peak of Pilotalekugaña, offering panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint for your hike.
