This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Lizarnabarra area, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural landscapes. The trail is 5.884 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 146 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will find Parking Paso Ibardin and several other parking areas for your convenience. As you continue, you will come across Usategieta, a saddle with historical significance. Further along the trail, there are archaeological sites such as Dolmen Txarrantxarri 1, Túmulo Lizarnabarra, and Cromlech tumular Ardizoko Armasa.
Midway through the hike, you will reach peaks like Lizarnabarra and Txarrantxarri, offering panoramic views of the area. Information points provide insights into the local flora, fauna, and history. Gartzin peak is also visible from a distance.
As you make your way back, you will pass by boundary stones and the Ibardin saddle before reaching the Okalarre restaurant where you can refuel after your hike.
