This hiking route follows the Route de Basse-Ruche, located in a picturesque area with stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The trail begins at a parking area, where hikers can leave their vehicles and start their adventure.
As you hike along the trail, you will come across a restaurant called Restaurant d'alpage Basseruche, situated close to the beginning of the route. This is a great spot to stop and grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink before continuing on your journey.
About 0.65 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. Continuing on, at around 1.28 kilometers, there is a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area.
At the same location, there is also a picnic site nearby, perfect for a scenic lunch break surrounded by nature. Additionally, you will encounter the Fruitieres de Nyon viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views of the landscape, as well as another viewpoint along the way.
