This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Notre-Dame des Neiges, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The route is circular, starting and ending at the peak of Notre-Dame des Neiges.

The trail starts at Le Chalet de la Faucille, a fast-food spot at the base of the peak where you can grab a quick snack before beginning your hike. As you make your way up the trail, you'll come across the Col de la Faucille, a saddle located just 0.07 kilometers from the start, offering a great vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery.

About midway through the hike, at 0.99 kilometers from the start, you'll find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, at 1.72 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Notre-Dame des Neiges, a peak that provides panoramic views of the area.

As you near the end of the hike, you'll pass by parking areas and information points, such as the Office de tourisme du Pays de Gex and the Sentier des belvédères, which offer insights into the local area and its natural beauty.

The route covers a distance of 3.6 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 112 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for all skill levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this picturesque hike.
