The hiking route in Valbonë is an extremely difficult 12.37-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1535 meters. The trail will take approximately 6 hours and 42 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area and a restaurant called Fusha e Gjesë right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by another parking area and a beautiful spring midway through your journey.

During your hike, you will encounter several points of interest such as two peaks, a cave entrance, a viewpoint offering stunning views, and a drinking water station. These can be found at various points along the trail, with some closer to the start and others closer to the end.

It is important to note that there is a campsite located 0.2 kilometers away from the trail, so you can plan to stay overnight if needed. However, it is advisable to check the forecast before heading out and to bring enough water for the duration of the hike.
