This extremely difficult 11.8-kilometer out-and-back hiking route in Valbonë offers stunning views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking for your vehicle. Just a short distance from the trail, Fusha e Gjesë restaurant offers a nice spot to grab a meal before your hike. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across a peak at 5.92 kilometers into the route, offering a perfect vantage point to take in the surrounding landscape.

Continuing on, at 4.85 kilometers, you'll find a cave entrance worth exploring and a viewpoint at 4.31 kilometers to rest and enjoy the scenery. If you need to refill your water supply, a drinking water station is located at 3.14 kilometers from the start.

Although a peak at 5.28 kilometers is slightly off the trail, it's worth a visit if you have the time. A refreshing spring at the start of the trail is perfect for refilling your water bottles.

Please note that a campsite is located 0.2 kilometers away from the trail. Ensure you have proper camping permits if you plan to stay overnight.

This challenging hike includes a total elevation gain of 1416 meters, so be prepared for steep ascents and descents. It's essential to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
