Located in the beautiful mountainous region, this extremely difficult 13.416-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With a total elevation gain of 654 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting off at the trailhead, hikers will pass by the picturesque alpine hut, Planina Dolga njiva, located just 0.79 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a short break and admire the stunning mountain views. As you continue on, you will reach a parking area 0.0 kilometers from the start, where you can safely leave your vehicle before embarking on the rest of the journey.
Midway through the hike, at the 6.71-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Plešivec / Pleschiwetz.
