This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area surrounding Sentiero Ezio Nicoli, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. With a total distance of 13.442 kilometers and an elevation gain of 967 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous hike.
Starting from the trailhead, hikers will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a drinking water point, perfect for refilling your water bottle before embarking on the journey. As you continue, you will encounter the Gruppo dell'Alpetto saddle, providing a scenic spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the trail, you will reach Lago di Alpetto, followed by Lago della Pellegrina and Lago delle Sagnette, offering picturesque lakeside views and peaceful settings to relax. Additionally, Rifugio Alpetto, an alpine hut, is located midway through the hike, providing a potential rest stop or overnight accommodation option.
