This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mont Major. The total distance of the hike is 9.691 kilometers with an elevation gain of 242 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Château de Villerouge-Termenès, a historic castle located just 0.25 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, you will come across a viewpoint at 4.84 kilometers where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Along the way, there are several dining options such as La rôtisserie Médiévale and La Taverne, both located around 0.24-0.25 kilometers from the start of the trail, where you can refuel and recharge for the rest of your hike.
As you approach the midway point of the trail, you will encounter the ruins of a moulin, an historic mill, located 0.64 kilometers from the starting point. Further ahead, at 3.68 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Pech de Blanes, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.
Towards the end of the hike, at 4.85 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Mont Major, another great vantage point to take in the beauty of the surroundings.
