Located in the beautiful Prado Cuadrado area, this hiking route offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With a total distance of 14.397 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1064 meters, this extremely difficult trail will take you approximately 5 hours and 59 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the La Parada del Arriero Asador restaurant, a perfect spot to fuel up before embarking on your journey. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.76 kilometers from the start, you will find the Refugio de la Majada del Tío Manteca, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views.
Midway through the hike, at 4.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Alto de los Corralillos, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will encounter the Collado del Risco and Collado del Boquerón saddles, providing a great opportunity to rest and take in the scenery.
At the turnaround point of the hike, approximately 7.2 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Torozo, offering breathtaking views that make the challenging journey worth it. Don't forget to stop by the Fuente del Refugio del Tío Manteca spring, located at 0.76 kilometers from the start, to replenish your water supply.
