This extremely difficult 13.4-kilometer circular hiking route, known as Camí de Mont-ral, offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for seasoned hikers. The trail spans approximately 3 hours and 49 minutes, featuring an elevation gain of 286 meters.
Located in a picturesque area, this trail takes you through various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle. As you venture further, you will encounter a refreshing water source approximately 70 meters from the start, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your bottles.
Around the 5-kilometer mark, you will reach the historic ruins of Mas de l'Escolà, offering a glimpse into the past. Continuing on, you will find another water point at the 6.5-kilometer mark, allowing you to rest and rehydrate before the next leg of your hike.
Further along the trail, you will pass by Font de Dalt, a natural spring located 4.8 kilometers from the start, offering a serene spot to relax and appreciate the surroundings. Additionally, you will encounter informative signposts and alpine huts along the way, providing insight into the local area and accommodation options for longer hikes.
As you near the end of the trail, you will reach Font de la Torre, another refreshing spring located approximately 6.1 kilometers from the start. Finally, you will pass by the historic ruins of Mas de l'Escolà once again before completing the loop.
