Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area about 0.05 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at around 0.02 kilometers, you will find another parking area that is directly on the trail. Near the beginning of the hike, there is a shelter about 0.31 kilometers from the start, providing a nice resting spot.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Castle Rock Founders Memorial, a historic monument located about 0.32 kilometers from the start. Further along, at around 0.55 kilometers, you will reach Castle Rock, a natural peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
