This hiking route is a circular trail that takes you from Plaza del Mercado to the stunning Mirador de Següencu in the beautiful area near Picos de Europa National Park. The trail covers a distance of 11.388 kilometers and has an elevation gain of 679 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike suitable for hikers with some experience.

You will start your journey at Plaza del Mercado, where you can park your car before embarking on the trail. Before you start, you can gather information and resources at the Oficina Parque Nacional Picos de Europa visitor center. If you need a quick bite to eat, you can visit Restaurante El Abuelo for some sustenance.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by various points of interest such as the viewpoint at Estatua del Rey Pelayo and the fountain at Mirador de Següencu, which is 5 kilometers away from the starting point. Make sure to take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views from these spots.

Along the way, you will also come across a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, and pubs where you can refuel and take a rest. Some of these include El Robledal, Churreria Maguerit, and Sidrería La Madreñería.
