Welcome to the hiking route to Mirador in the beautiful area surrounding Chacaltaya. This out-and-back trail offers a total distance of 2.118 kilometers and an elevation gain of 115 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by a convenient parking area, located just 17.64 meters from the trailhead. From there, continue on as you make your way towards the iconic peak of Chacaltaya, standing majestically at a distance of 0.7 kilometers from the start of the trail.

Midway through your hike, you'll come across the Mirador viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to soak in the beauty of your surroundings before continuing on the trail. The viewpoint is located 1.06 kilometers from the starting point.

Finally, as you make your way back, you'll pass by the Cabaña Museo Federico Nielsen Reyes, an alpine hut situated just 0.04 kilometers from the starting point. This cozy accommodation serves as a perfect resting spot before completing your journey.
