As you embark on this out-and-back route, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area to leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you continue, approximately 2.64 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak known as 竹里山 where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.

About 0.6 kilometers from the start of the trail, you will encounter the 尖山湖紀念碑 memorial. This serves as a historical landmark along the route. Additionally, at a distance of 0.13 kilometers from the start, you will find the 嵩山梯田觀景處 viewpoint, offering a picturesque spot to rest and admire the scenery.
