This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding 小觀音山北北峰. The trail is 8.495 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 277 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 39 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the 小油坑橋停車場 parking lot, a convenient starting point for the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.85 kilometers from the start, you will reach the 大屯山鞍部停車場 parking lot, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Around the 3.61 kilometer mark, you will reach the 小觀音山 peak, offering stunning views of the area. As you continue on, you will encounter the 菜頭崙 peak at 4.25 kilometers from the start. Further along, at 3.64 kilometers, you will find the 反經石群 rock formation and the 大石展望點 viewpoint.

The trail also features informational points such as the 6號大屯溪古道防迷標誌 and the 7號大屯溪古道防迷標誌, providing insights into the area's history and natural features.

For your convenience, there are several parking lots along the trail, including 小觀音停車場 and multiple others at the beginning of the route.
