This hiking route will take you to Tête du Planay, a peak with stunning views in the area. The total distance of the hike is approximately 5.959 kilometers with an elevation gain of 610 meters, making it a difficult trail that will take around 2 hours and 54 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by La Dandry parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.82 kilometers into the hike, you will find Le Refuge restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail, at around 0.3 kilometers in, you will come across Les Bruyères restaurant, another great spot to rest and enjoy some food.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.98 kilometers, you will reach Décollage FFVL Tete du Planay, a free flying site where you can witness paragliders taking off. Close by, at the same distance, you will also find Tête du Planay peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

On the way back, at 1.86 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Le Chanté information point, providing interesting insights about the area. Further along, at 0.78 kilometers in, you will encounter another information point, and at 0.33 kilometers, the last information point before reaching the starting point.
