This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Ma'ale Arugot HaTzafoni in the Ma'ale Arugot Nature Reserve, managed by the Megilot Regional Council near the Dead Sea.

As you start your hike, you will find convenient parking available at the trailhead. After a short distance, you'll come across a comfortable bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views. Further along the trail, there is a drinking water station to refill your bottles, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey.

Around the 0.14 km mark, you'll find an information point providing insights about the area's history and natural features. As you continue, at around 0.85 km into the hike, you'll encounter the mesmerizing Ma'ale Arugot waterfall, a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenic beauty surrounding you.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.65 km, a viewpoint offers a stunning panorama of the area, perfect for capturing memorable photos. Just a bit further at 5.63 km, you'll find an archaeological site, allowing you to delve into the historical significance of the region.

Although not directly on the trail, at 0.16 km into the hike, there's a chance to encounter Nubian Ibex in the wild at the nearby zoo. Keep your eyes peeled as you might catch a glimpse of these fascinating creatures along the way.

With a total distance of 11.295 kilometers and an elevation gain of 624 meters, this hike is rated as difficult, suitable for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring an adequate water supply, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
