Welcome to the hiking route to Griesgrundwächter! This beautiful area offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on an easy hike with a distance of 1.312 kilometers and an elevation gain of 100 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, ensuring you will return to the starting point.
As you make your way along the path, you will encounter several interesting points of interest. Approximately 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle. About 0.11 kilometers in, you will come across the Tümpelgrundturm, a peak known for climbing opportunities.
Midway through the hike at 0.66 kilometers, you will reach the Griesgrundwächter peak, another popular spot for climbers. Additionally, there are other peaks like Elbgucke, Erikascheibe, Tümpelgrundwand, and Wetterwarte that offer thrilling climbing experiences.
Along the way, you may also spot the Kernzonengrenze, a point of information about the area. If you're interested in caves, the cave entrance located 0.56 kilometers from the start is worth checking out.
