This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you from Planpraz to Brévent, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain.

Starting from the parking lot at Parking du Brévent, you will make your way along the trail towards La Bergerie de Plan Praz, a rustic restaurant located approximately 2.9 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing on your journey.

As you trek further along the path, you will come across Altitude 2000, another restaurant situated around 3.24 kilometers from the start. Here, you can refuel and enjoy the stunning mountain scenery.

During your hike, you may also encounter Brev'Bar, a food court located approximately 2.9 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and grab a snack.

One of the highlights of this route is the takeoff site at Décollage FFVL de Planpraz - Brévent, situated around 3.12 kilometers from the start. You can watch paragliders take to the skies and enjoy the thrill of free flying in this spectacular alpine setting.

As you continue on, you will reach Col du Brévent, a scenic mountain pass located 4.68 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Along the way, you will also pass by the Pierre à Ruskin, a historic memorial located approximately 0.21 kilometers from the start, and various information points providing insights into the local area.

The trail culminates at a viewpoint around 5.11 kilometers from the start, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

With a total distance of 10.227 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1345 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and sturdy hiking shoes.
